Dr. Allswede is from Eaton Rapids, Michigan. He received his BA in chemistry
from Albion College and his MD from the University of Michigan. After
completing residency in metro Detroit, Dr. Allswede practiced Ob-Gyn at
Sparrow Hospital for 14 years. He served as Residency Program Director for
the next 10 years. Dr. Allswede is the immediate past-Chair of the Michigan
Section of ACOG and continues to be an advocate for Ob-Gyns and their
patients at the state and district levels. Dr. Allswede enjoys sailing when wind,
weather and work schedules allow.
